In association with the IAAPT we are pleased to offer FREE registration to all policy holders here, subject to meeting the minimum educational and experience requirements of the IAAPT.
The IAAPT know that being a therapist and becoming one is no easy task. Complementary therapies do not get support from the Government at present. IAAPT knows that to become a therapist and to be properly trained it on average costs the student £3000 just to become qualified. First you need to find an accredited training organisation, get qualified and then get insurance.
Since 1989 the IAAPT have had first hand experience with complementary and alternative therapies and training organisation's. During the 1990's they collated information on all forms of treatment that was available then and have kept up to date with all the new ones as well. In the late 1990's the IAAPT started to gather information and monitor complementary course providers. In some cases we also paid to go on courses ourselves. In 2005 it was decided to form IAAPT.
